Benchmade has updated their already famous Presidio knife with some nice upgrades. They recently put forth this limited edition offering. Both performance and ergonomics are improved from the previous version. This specific Presidio II BK (model 570BK-1801) limited edition model has been given a “rustic” anodized finished. It looks more akin to camouflage.
This limited edition Presidio II has a blade measuring 3.72″ made from CPMS30V hardened to 58-60 HRC. S30V is well regarded in knife enthusiast circles. S30V has a well-rounded balance of edge retention and toughness. It’s a high-end blade steel that is incredibly durable and corrosion resistant for everyday carry use.
The handles on the Presidio II are made out of 6061 T4 billet aluminum. They feature nice machined grooves for improved grip. Benchmade has used their AXIS locking system for safety and ease of deployment.
This limited edition version has a serial number on each knife and is limited to 1000 pieces total. Many shops are already out but New Graham has them in stock now. Expect to pay a little over $200 for it.
